- 2 apples
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp. water
- Core the apples, but leave the bottom intact.
- Place the apples in a casserole dish that has a cover.
- Mix the brown sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, and water in a bowl. Pour the mixture in the hollow space of each apple. Cover the casserole dish.
- Microwave for 3.5 – 4 minutes or until tender. Let the apple cool to a manageable temperature before serving.
